ALPOLIC is an aluminum composite material with mineral core which is used for exterior or interior claddings of the buildings.
MIMO has been collaborating with Mitsubishi Plastics Inc. (Mitsubishi Chemical Functional Products, Inc) for over 15 years, using ALPOLIC material for exterior cladding of the buildings.
Today the ALPOLIC material is known as the most appropriate material for exterior cladding and is used in a lot of large projects all over the world (eg. Hotel Burj Al Arab din Dubai ).
Aluminum is the most popular metal in the building industry because of its reduced weight, high corrosion-resistance and ductility. But the innovative architects are constantly seeking for new materials. In order to meet these demands the Japanese company Mitsubishi Plastics developed new composite material other than aluminum and have successfully supplied titanium composite materials (TCM), stainless steel composite material (SCM) and zinc composite material (ZCM).

Surface flatness and colour consistency
The installed surface of Alpolic is truly flat, because of the production process of continuous lamination. The color consistency is due to the Lumiflon-based fluorocarbon paint. After the coil coating process, the mineral filled core or low density polyethylene core is laminated between two coated aluminum coils, resulting in the finished composite material. The Lumiflon based fluorocarbon coatings are very durable for exterior claddings.

The paint is guaranteed for 10 years. Also there are several maintenance methods so that the surface of the material remains clean and the color won’t change its shade.

Fire safety, Fire tests and Indications for the Fire rezistance Classification
Alpolic passed several fire tests and it is considered the safest material to use for the exterior and interior claddings in many countries. Though the core material does contain a small amount of combustible polyethylene, the main ingredient of the non-combustible mineral does not permit the flame proliferation and restricts smoke.

Appearance
The building facades finished with Alpolic are eye-catching because of the variety of colors: Solid (enamel) Colors, Metallic Colors, Sparkling Colors and Stone-Timber-Metal Series. Because of its workability the panels can be cut with a circular saw, folded after grooving and curved with a 3-roll bender and can be installed easily on the building sites.
The color chart is different from the real paint on the samples. That’s why we advise you to contact us for supplying you the Alpolic samples for your projects. Alpolic comes in a wide range of colors and in a gloss range between 15 and 80%. The gloss is indicated near the color code for e.g. M9010-G30 means 30% gloss for M9010 White color.
In case of the Metallic Colors, Sparkling Colors and Stone – Timber –Metal Colors the color may slightly vary between production lots. .

Stone – Timber – Metal Series of Alpolic
This Alpolic Series was developed as an alternative to natural granites, timbers and metals. The authentic looking patterns are produced with a unique image transfer process. The coating is the same Lumiflon-based fluorocarbon coating and offers the same durability and flatness.
Alpolic has been used for shop-front and directory signboards since its inception and has become more and more popular in the field of corporate signage. Color, glass and shape are all important factors in expressing a unified corporate image, as are color consistency and durability. Lumiflon based fluorocarbon coating is available in a wide range of colors and in glosses between 15 and 80%.
